In the lead up to Christmas every year, Nativity scenes of all descriptions are displayed in the church early in the season of Advent.
The church is open each day for four days, enabling people to visit, including children from local Pre-schools.
Dress-up costumes are made available, and children are invited to be photographed as part of a real Nativity scene.
Every year Dungog Uniting Church participates in the Community Christmas Street Parade, featuring live animals.
